Matlock Moor Methodist Church has been a centre for Christian worship for over a century. It opened as a Primitive Methodist Chapel in 1903 but recently it was extended and renovated to transform it into a community resource.
Our Chapel and Community Centre is now adjacent to two large new housing developments with which we have started to make links through community activities run by the church and by others. The Covid-19 crisis interrupted our plans but we have re-opened for services of worship and other activities.
Something's brewing takes place on Mondays from 9.30am to 11.30am. All are welcome. Drop in for a free cuppa and a chat; there are activities for children.
